Window Treatment for the Bed

The valances in the living room just weren't working for me in there.  So I pulled them down the other day and set them aside until inspiration could hit me in the middle of the night.  And it did!

So this morning, I stripped my new sofa table of it's nice brown "tablecloth," borrowed some PVC from my husband's sprinkler project (a long learning post for another day when the experience isn't quite so painful) and in twenty minutes, I had this:
