What a fun and very entertaining week I have had. I do not know where to start...maybe first off, I was able to do some blogging and digital scrapbooking.
I forgot to post this fun creation that Jeanette, Suzy and I came up with the time we were decorating Jeanette's kitchen:
Yesterday I got to go swimming (for only one short hour) with all three kids at the Murray Pool with a good friend/cousin-in-law and her sweet babes. The kids loved it, especially Abi. I think I have a little fish on my hands.
Can you believe it? Abi still fits in the same swimsuit she wore one year ago (when she was Carly's age).
Not one hour after we got home from swimming I went with my sister-in-law and her sister-in-law to Tai Pan for some home decor shopping. Jani (the sister-in-law of my sister-in-law...is it getting confusing yet?), had a few questions about paint, and scale and bedroom furnishings, so we made a trip out to her home in Draper for a quick brainstorming session. She and her husband fed us dinner...it was the biggest pizza I have ever seen and so tasty!
Today I went back to Tai Pan with the same girls and we picked up some more goodies. I can't wait to see Jani's bedroom when she is finished with it, I am sure it will be amazing. I spent a few hours in my garage while the kids were napping making a small creation for Jeanette's (my sister-in-law) living room with our findings from Tai Pan.
Upon delivery of the floral, we re-arranged the furniture (moved the piano twice) and came up with this arrangement.
I feel so blessed to have Jeanette and Grant living so close by. They have two younger boys who are so kind to Connor and always ask to have him over for playdates. They think he is hilarious because of all the funny things a three year old does. Will just turned 8 and Seiji is 6, so they are much older and wiser. Anything those boys like, Connor automatically likes too.
No, we did not plan the outfits. Her boys dressed themselves and I had already dressed Connor before we arrived at their home...soul mates if I'd ever seen some.
And because I had a picture of Abi and one of Connor, here is one of the blob (yes, I realize she has grown out of her carseat...we're working on it). And one of Will attempting to lift my Carly Barly.

Wow! That arrangement is a work of art! Although I don't know why I'd expect anything less than that from you. Incredible.
We loved swimming with you guys. I can't believe how brave Abi is in the pool!
Holy flowers! I love it!
wow, that is one cute little, or should I say, HUGE kid. She's a chunk. I want one
Hey Mel,
So we just got back from being in Disneyland for the last week, and your invitation was in my mailbox. I'm sad! Invite me again. I promise we don't travel too often, so I should be able to make it next time! I hope things went well for your niece.
Okay miss crafty!!! I love the stuff you have been preping for your new home. You do such a great job! On that note...wanna help me with my blog??? I don't know how to creat a custom page. Seems like everyone else does...can you help?
I just want to kiss those cute baby cheeks! What a doll. I love that you and Todd have such chunky babies...you are both so thin.
I can't wait to see you guys!
